"The body is a reliable source of information about how we respond and process what we are doing in our lives. The body has intelligence that we can listen to, and then develop tools to enhance our personal and working potential."

Raewyn has been running movement or body-orientated workshops for many years. They involve simple down-to-earth ways to listen to the body's signals telling us what is good for us and what is not.

She offers exercises and processes that give 'tailor-made' information for each person to discover the best natural ways to monitor their own stress levels. This approach cultivates positive self-maintenance routines. All the information is there, we just have to listen.

"We often recognise pain as the major physical sensation. . . What about pleasure? With body awareness and partnering hands-on exercises, new awarenesses develop and physical well-being becomes a daily experience. Ways of reducing physical and mental tension are introduced, and guided relaxation techniques key into long held physical and psychological holding patterns."

Raewyn's work explores the ways the body 'hangs together,' influencing our posture. The result is greater ease and freedom of movement. Physical awkwardness disappears as the body and mind integrate. Emotional intelligence is enhanced with this work. People often speak of these experiences as moving and deeply satisfying.
