Elissa is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara in the independent major of Communication Theory, with extensive professional training in metaphysics, clinical psychology, and alternative healing methods. In her current work with groups she applies Native American practices, exploring intuition and the power of visualisation. In full-time private practice since 1979, and in Santa Fe since 1988, she is also a columnist, workshop facilitator, and radio personality. Elissa also designs and leads vision quests, usually in the powerful environment of northern New Mexico, and often together with native elders. "I love setting people up to have their own spiritual experience out in nature." She looks forward to developing similar programmes in New Zealand and Australia. |
